Celebrating National Pet Month!

May not only brings flowers but it also bring a month long celebration of those little creatures we call our pets, babies, whatever you want to call them. There are so many ways you can celebrate!

Adopt: Of course this isn't realistic for EVERYONE but it's probably the easiest way to give a pet their forever home! Not ready for adoption? Check out the other ways you can be involved below!

Volunteer: Spend your off time volunteering at your local shelter or with a rescue. They need all the help they can get from volunteers.

Foster: If you're able, fostering allows shelters and rescues to save more dogs and cats! You can foster long term or even for a week or two while a permanent foster is found.

Donate: Even a dollar or two when you visit the shelter makes a difference when it's added all together. Maybe you have some old blankets and toys? Shelters will accept almost anything that can go towards the care and cleaning of the pets in their care!

Educate: It's so simple to just make others aware of the pet overpopulation and the effects of backyard breeders. Just by sharing educational posts on social media, you're spreading the message to all those people you know with very little effort!

Remember to #PawitForward by supporting our Love and Licks® Foundation so we can help save the pets of the world because when it comes to rescue, the world is black and white.
