We all wish we could travel with our dog when it's vacation time. Well now you can! More and more places are becoming dog friendly so your fur baby doesn't have to stay at home. We've compiled a list of some pet-friendly travel destinations that have an equal amount of fun things for everyone!
1. Austin, TX
Throw on a cowboy hat (or not) and head on over to Austin where there are plenty of dog friendly bars, parks, festivals and concerts! Yes, I said festivals and concerts! Many outdoor ones allow you to bring your dog along to soak up the fun but be sure to double check prior. One place that stand out is the Groovy Dog Bakery where you can stock up on fresh treats and maybe join in on a session of dog yoga aka bring your dog to yoga! Check out a full list of dog friendly restaurants, bars, stores and parks in Austin here and here.

2. Cannon Beach, OR
Travel off the beaten path and head to the small town of Cannon Beach just outside Portland, Oregon. This is a getaway from the city but still close enough that you can head over and enjoy what Portland has to offer. There are numerous pet friendly hotels that treat Fido like any other guests. Cannon Beach is known for being chilly almost year round so be sure to bring a coat for both you and your dog. Here's a full guide.

4. Mendocino County, CA
For all our locals in Los Angeles, you can hop in the car and head to Mendocino County aka one of the most dog friendly places in the states. It's filled with activities you can both enjoy such as wine testing (ok, humans do the tasting but canines can tag along), tons of beach access and hundreds of miles of trails to explore. They even have their own pet-friendly guide you can check out here.
